HVAC Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have more than a year of previous experience. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, refrigeration and air conditioning systems in commercial settings. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot various HVAC equipment effectively.

Duties

Install and maintain HVAC systems, including commercial refrigeration repairs systems and plant maintenance.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on heating and cooling equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair issues related to HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance.
Conduct ammonia refrigeration repairs as needed, adhering to safety protocols.
Provide exceptional customer service while working on-site at various properties.
Collaborate with maintenance management team to ensure all HVAC systems are functioning efficiently.
Utilize welding skills for repairs and modifications of HVAC components when necessary.
Document all service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed on equipment.

Qualifications

1 – year proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the field of service technician work.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to plumb and perform equipment repairs effectively.
Familiarity with appliance repair techniques is a plus.
Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems is highly desirable.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Valid driver’s license required.
Pass background check.
