The Food Label Specialist encompasses the development, meticulous review, and upkeep of food product labels, guaranteeing adherence to regulatory standards and delivering precise, comprehensive details for consumers. This position demands a profound comprehension of food labeling regulations, unwavering attention to detail, and adept collaboration with cross-functional departments such as R&D, marketing, and QA teams. He/she reports to the VP of FSQ & Regulatory Affairs.

Education:
- High school or equivalent
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in food science nutrition, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in food labeling, regulatory affairs, or quality assurance
in the food industry - Knowledge: Strong understanding of food labeling regulations (e.g., FDA, USDA) and industry
standards - Skills:
o Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
o Proficiency in using labeling software and tools (e.g., Genesis R&D, Adobe etc.) - Certifications: Certification in regulatory affairs or labeling [e.g., Regulatory Affairs Certification
(RAC)] is a plus - Additional Information:
- Knowledge of international labeling requirements is an advantage.
- Experience with product launches and managing labeling projects from concept to market is desirable.
